About 20 popular VPN services have already been blocked in Russia, and Roskomnadzor intends to continue this work.
This was announced by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Hinstein, Ukrinform reports.
“Today, about two dozen popular VPNs in Russia have been blocked. They will continue to be blocked. Roskomnadzor is working, VPNs are blocked every day, this is not an easy task, but it is being done,” Hinstein said.
Since the beginning of March, almost all independent media outlets in Russia have been blocked, as well as popular social networks – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
