RUSSIA IS WINNING. In Ukraine🇺🇦, fortunately, Russia🇷🇺 is NOT making strategic gains. But Ukraine is just one front in Russia’s war: We may win the battle of Ukraine🇺🇦, but then lose the global war.

MOLDOVA🇲🇩 just had its first round of presidential elections where a referendum, to support future European Union🇪🇺 membership, only won 50.39%. The pro-European President is projected to lose to a Russia-aligned candidate in a second round next Sunday.

GEORGIA’s🇬🇪 national elections have just been stolen by the pro-Russian oligarch who controls the country in a fashion that makes North Korean🇰🇵 elections look free, fair, & democratic.

NORTHKOREA 🇰🇵, an impoverished hellhole, feels so sure that the West’s redlines mean nothing that it is now sending soldiers to assist #Russia in invading Ukraine as they study how to wage war, something that jeopardizes the security of our allies, South Korea🇰🇷 & Japan🇯🇵, who are nervously monitoring China’s increased aggressiveness.

CHINA 🇨🇳, which has rising influence across Asia, Africa, & Latin America, continues to express credible threats of a future invasion of Taiwan🇹🇼.

TAIWAN 🇹🇼, seeing how quickly the West’s support for Ukraine🇺🇦 dried-up, is concerned, legitimately, that if the need comes: Western states will not come to its rescue, as has been promised.

To the South, Russia is deeply entrenched in Mali🇲🇱, Niger🇳🇪, & Burkina Faso🇧🇫 as Francophone Africa moves into Russia’s orbit. Russia, facing only “harshly worded statements” from the West, is overthrowing democratically elected governments

IRAN🇮🇷, already sending drones & assistance to Russia🇷🇺.

Good news was Israel’s🇮🇱 incredible operation to eliminate Iran-backed terrorists in #Lebanon🇱🇧 & other countries.

But Iran remains Russia’s ally in places like #Venezuela🇻🇪 where the dictator is wanted by the US🇺🇸 for being a narcotics kingpin.

The US🇺🇸 itself is facing a tight #election2024 where one of the candidates has been supported, in two elections, by Russia, according to American intelligence. Whoever wins the Presidency, Americans are bitterly divided, including over foreign policy.

Our neighbors, in #Canada🇨🇦, have been facing waves of pro-Russian propaganda & influence campaigns, like many European countries.

Europe🇪🇺, once robustly united, is being led by weak leaders who have failed to counter Russia’s rise. Hungary🇭🇺 & Slovakia🇸🇰 are dominated by Putin’s lackeys – a symptom of the reckless populism spreading on the continent.

Russia, globally, sees that the tide is turning their direction. North Korea🇰🇵, Iran🇮🇷, China🇨🇳 & Russia🇷🇺 are effectively changing the world order.

👉 Russia’s war for world dominance is just beginning. Every day of idle indecision by the West — postponing the inevitable — only makes the price of inaction go up.

🔥The Free World must confront Russia NOW.🔥

Nice to see pantomime season has come a few weeks early this year so I’ll join in, just for sh*ts and giggles…. 🙃

“OH NO IT ISN’T❗”

Is this an ironic surname spotting competition?? 🤔

Asking for a friend.

Your response shows such a poor command of English that I just read it to the group with which I’m sitting.

Tragically, but not worryingly, none of us can understand your feeble attempts to communicate.

If strenghtened by subduing Ukraine, Putin will assume that we would never dare to resist him.
Other brigandries will follow, including against NATO = WW III later. How do we know – it all had already happened around 85 years ago.
Every other adversary will conclude the same, initially in the Far and in the Middle East.
Every country in the world will conclude that the only way to defend itself is to develop its own nukes. That is a lot easier now than it was 80 years ago = an uncontrolled nuclear race + eventually a disaster.
For some (explicable or) inexplicable reason no media, press, etc. talk/write about all that. Some epidemics of STUP1D1T¥ ? Independent & investigative journalism are dead, even just before the very important US Election.
Col. Jon Sweet (The Hill) is the only exception I can think about.
This is the most important matter this Century. WAKE UP PEOPLE !

President Kennedy has taught us that the United States must stand its ground in matters of importance. Our ‘chicken politicians’ don’t accept it – they hadn’t learnt that at school & they don’t apply it in politics. Instead they run with their tail between their hind legs every time Putin bluffs.

WE MUST stand up to Putin & help Ukraine to defeat Putin, otherwise he’ll start WW3 later.

This situation is binary.
There are only two possible outcomes, even though multiple paths may lead to one of them:

  1. Putin must be defeated in Ukraine. (With more of our help. A no-fly zone for a start, but more may be needed.)
  2. A (forced) negotiation or a fall of Ukraine = strengthened Putin would start WW III later that we would have to fight without Ukrainian help.

If one thinks that generosity (or being YELL0W) justifies risking #2, instead of a victory per #1, I question her/his sanity. That includes our ‘chicken politicians’.

Putin is unlikely to use nukes, because we’re better protected from him than he is from us. If he’s stupid enough to try, #1 is better than #2 is.

A no-fly zone is likely the best way we can help. 100% defensive, it would stop killing & destruction. It would allow Ukraine to fight Putin safer.

Christopher J. Wajnikonis; whose comment appears here, always has something interesting and passionate to say.

  2. Volodymyr Kukharenko wrote recently about what would happen if Putler succeeds:

“Russia wants world dominance, not some territories. At this point, you may stop them cheaply (currently it’s 15 EUR per capita monthly). If Russia gets Ukraine, you’ll be in real trouble, especially if US goes into isolationism as some of their politicians want. Imagine the most experienced armies in the world against soft Western consumerist society where most people openly declare they won’t fight (which means that the number in reality will be even higher). What do you think will happen? Russians (of any ethnicity) will come to your house and take what and whom they want. You may still deny it is possible, but you’d better think it is because it’s the only way to avoid it. I was also denying it before 24th February 2022, and you’d better not repeat our mistakes.

Europe, you need Ukrainian army. This is the only functional army in Europe, with experience bought by blood, pain, and tears. Not “bonsai armies” most of you have. And having it on your side guarantees you normal peaceful life. If Russia takes it and forces to fight on its side, you’ll be f$#%d. Yes, you may still win in the end, but you’ll be appalled by the cost, both in money and human lives. Sorry to be that direct, but I am out of words to explain the obvious.”

  3. All of the above can be attributed to our stupid, cowardly, and greedy Western leaders who are surrendering this planet to the trash countries without lifting a finger but lubricating their efforts with only warm oral winds.
