Russia does not have the right to veto a possible decision on Ukraine ‘s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

According to an UNIAN correspondent, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this after the Alliance’s summit in Brussels.

“It is extremely important to emphasize that each state has the right to choose its own path, and this also applies to the security structures of which it wants to be a part, including NATO,” Stoltenberg said.

“It is up to Ukraine and the 30 member states to decide when Ukraine becomes a member of NATO,” Stoltenberg said.

He stressed that Russia will not be able to declare a possible accession of Ukraine to the Alliance.

    • Ukraine is already defending Europe from the ruSSo-goblins, joining NATO just makes it official. They could go ahead and move everything out of Germany, Belgium, Italy, France and all the money wasted there and invest it in Odesa, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mariupol, Dnipro and eventually…..Sevastopol.

  1. “Stoltenberg reminded that Russia does not have the right to veto the decision on Ukraine’s accession to NATO…”
I remind Stoltenberg that so far mafia land’s vetos and warnings have been heeded.
