Russian forces have deliberately launched missile and drone strikes on nearly half of American businesses operating in Ukraine. 

This was stated by US Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, reports Censor.NET with reference to  hromadske.

“This is not an accident, but a deliberate attack”

He stressed that the Russian attacks were planned and caused millions of dollars in damage.

“Americans should be outraged that American businesses have been targeted and deliberately attacked by Putin. There should be no doubt: these are not random, these are deliberate and repeated attacks. They have caused millions of dollars in damage and are a complete disregard for international law, not to mention basic morality,” the senator said.

The American lawmaker expressed hope that businesses would become more active in reaching out to the US authorities to force the Kremlin to come to the negotiating table. He also stressed the need to impose new sanctions against Russia.

“Putin only understands force”

“The Russia sanctions bill could dramatically change the situation with Putin’s economy – especially at a time of potentially unprecedented crisis. And Putin only understands force. He is a gangster who only understands force. And the Russia sanctions bill is a sledgehammer that can apply the very force that Putin understands,” Blumenthal added.
