Russia created its own maritime drone, but it was unsuccessful, – Budanov

Russia is also trying to create its own maritime drones , copying the Ukrainian experience. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, spoke about this during the telethon.

“Yes, they have developments. But… They somehow tried to use it. We saw real use once, all other cases were unsuccessful. For technical reasons,” said the head of military intelligence.

Budanov also noted that thanks in particular to maritime drones, Ukraine was able to ensure that Russian ships stopped entering the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Russians have not been seen here for almost two years.
