Russia claims that sinking of Ursa Major ship caused by “terrorist attack”

The russian company Oboronlogistika claims that its ship Ursa Major sank in the Mediterranean Sea allegedly as a result of a terrorist attack.

The russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti reported this on December 25.

The company said that three explosions allegedly occurred on the starboard side of the Ursa Major ship. They led to the ship’s accident and sinking.

The company did not provide any evidence that the explosions were caused by an alleged attack.

As a reminder, on the evening of December 23, the Ursa Major ship, owned by the russian company Oboronlogistika, sank in the Mediterranean Sea. The cause of the ship’s sinking was an explosion.

A number of OSINT analysts said that this ship was heading to evacuate personnel and equipment from two russian army bases in Syria.

We also wrote that on December 17, the Sparta ship, also owned by the company Oboronlogistika, broke down off the coast of French Brittany. The crew managed to eliminate the malfunction and the ship continued its journey.

In March of this year, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the russian company Oboronlogistika is supplying weapons to the russian army group in Syria.
