Russia continues to strike civilian cities in Ukraine during the coldest period of the year. At this moment, Kyiv is under attack. In one district of the capital, a strike hit non-residential buildings. In another district, a kindergarten caught fire as a result of the attack.
In the Donetsk region today, two civilians were killed and four injured by russian strikes. In Sloviansk, russian forces dropped three guided aerial bombs, killing one civilian and injuring another.
In Kostiantynivka, a civilian was injured after a russian FPV drone strike.
During the night of February 2, Russia shelled Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka with multiple rocket launch systems. One person was killed, two were injured.
The day before, russian attack drones hit a maternity hospital in Zaporizhzhia, injuring three women.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a russian drone struck a bus in the Pavlohrad district. Twelve people were killed and seven injured. The victims were civilians on their way to work.
These attacks are taking place as temperatures remain extremely low and cities struggle with heating and electricity. Civilian infrastructure continues to be targeted across Ukraine.
