In Kherson, the first victims are already known: 13-year-old twins.

The Russian army is terrorizing Ukraine once again. Odessa was under drone attack for the second day in a row , while in Kherson the Russians dropped an air bomb on a residential high-rise.

As UNIAN correspondent reports, an air raid alert was declared in Odessa on the evening of February 19. Explosions were heard in the city for several hours. Monitoring channels reported that a large number of UAVs were heading towards the city from the Black Sea.

Subsequently, the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported that as a result of the attack, fires broke out on the roof of a public catering establishment and a warehouse building, and an administrative building, a car wash, a roadway, and the glazing of a private home were damaged.

“One person was injured, a 55-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate condition,” the official said.

According to him, about five thousand residents of one of the districts of Odessa were also left without power supply due to the attack. As a result of the power outage, the work of the treatment facilities was suspended. Now all authorized services are working to eliminate the consequences of both today’s and yesterday’s attacks.

Kiper added that as a result of two days of strikes in the Odessa region, 89,500 subscribers are now without power. The corresponding work continues around the clock.

According to the city’s mayor Gennady Trukhanov, the heating main was damaged , and some subscribers’ heating was turned off. After the emergency services have completed their work, specialists will be able to begin restoring the heating system, and utility services will be able to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

The task force and district administration are already working on site. The mayor added that starting from 8 a.m. it will be possible to submit documents for the restoration of windows and doors, and in the case of the private sector, also the roof.

Shelling of Kherson

As for the situation in Kherson, according to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, a guided aerial bomb hit a multi-story building in the Dniprovsky district of the city.
