Russia attacked the international border crossing with Moldova: traffic was blocked

The impact damaged infrastructure and caused a fire.

Tonight, August 25, Russia attacked the international automobile checkpoint “Vynohradivka” in the Odessa region on the border with Moldova with Shahed attack drones. This was announced by the press service of the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that the attack damaged the infrastructure of the checkpoint. The fire has already been contained by rescuers.

Currently, the passage of citizens and vehicles through this checkpoint is suspended, and the Moldovan side has been notified. Transport is being redirected to other checkpoints.

“Please take this information into account when planning to cross the state border,” border guards warn.
