Apartments on the top floor of a 25-story residential building were destroyed, and one person was injured.

On the night of January 19, the Russian occupation army launched a massive drone strike on the Odessa region , particularly the city of Odessa. A residential high-rise was partially destroyed and energy and gas infrastructure was damaged.
As reported by a UNIAN correspondent, attack drones were flying over Odesa during the air raid alarm that night, and explosions and gunfire were heard. According to monitoring channels, Russian drones were spotted in various areas of the city.
According to Oleg Kiper , head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration , residential, energy, and gas infrastructure was damaged as a result of enemy action. Specifically, a drone struck a multi-story residential building in the Odesa district. Two apartments, the building’s façade, the windows, and a private vehicle parked nearby were damaged.

“Furthermore, damage was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility. All relevant services are working at the scene. The aftermath of the attack is being cleaned up,” Kiper said.
According to Serhiy Lysak , head of the Odessa MVA , the attack in the regional center damaged residential buildings and infrastructure. The blast wave shattered the windows of commercial premises and a car dealership.
According to the regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service , fires broke out at the impact sites, which have already been extinguished.
“Two apartments on the 25th floor of a 25-story residential building were also damaged. Windows in adjacent buildings were shattered. Parked cars were damaged,” the State Emergency Service reported.

According to the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the façade wall of a 25-story residential high-rise building, two apartments, four private homes, and 15 cars were damaged. A civilian, a 33-year-old man, was injured. An investigation has been opened into war crimes (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
