Russian forces have attacked two merchant ships sailing through the Ukrainian sea corridor under the flags of Tanzania and Liberia. The attack killed the captain of one of the ships and injured three other crew members.
This was announced in the Telegram channel by the head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, reports Censor.NET .
“The next target of the aggressor was two merchant ships moving along the sea corridor under the flags of Tanzania and Liberia,” he said.
There is a dead person and injured people.
- The captain of one of the ships was killed as a result of the attack.
- The crew of 11 people was evacuated to shore, three of them were injured.
“I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Every such cynical blow by the enemy is a war crime against civilians, civilian shipping, and world food security,” Kiper emphasized.
