Russia appoints trade representative in Ukraine

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a decree appointing Andrei Babko as trade representative of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The document is published on the official portal of Russia’s legal information, according to the Russian news agency TASS.

In addition, Anna Donchenko has been appointed trade representative of the Russian Federation in Armenia.

It is noted the post of Russia’s trade representative in Ukraine has been vacant since 2012 after Sergey Ivanov resigned over retirement. Since then, Sergey Solomin has served as acting trade representative. Since 2013, Babko has been trade representative of the Russian Federation in Armenia.
