Russia and China signed a pact on a new world order

The new world order will be based on principles that both China and especially Russia are grossly violating right now.

Russia and China have signed a declaration declaring themselves constructive forces and declaring their intention to build a new world order. The text of the declaration was published by the Kremlin press service.

The document notes that in recent decades the global community has become “more diverse and complex,” with the growing influence of states in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

“Attempts by a number of states to single-handedly manage world affairs, impose their interests on the entire world, and limit the opportunities for sovereign development of other countries in the spirit of the colonial era have failed,” the declaration states, apparently referring to the United States, although the same can be said of Russia.

In connection with the above, China and Russia believe that the world has entered a “long-term state of polycentricity.”

“On the other hand, the situation in the world is becoming more complicated. Such negative neocolonial trends as the practice of unilateral force approaches, hegemonism, and bloc confrontation are growing. The basic generally recognized norms of international law and international relations are regularly violated,” the document says again, alluding to the United States, but this fully applies to Russia as well.

Against the backdrop of everything that is happening, Russia and China, according to the declaration, advocate for “a more just and rational system of global governance.”

The following is a list of principles that Moscow and Beijing would like to see at the heart of a new world order, but which they themselves violate. Among others, the following are mentioned in particular:

  • respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all sovereign states;
  • equal, respectful and mutually beneficial relations between states;
  • respect for the choice of path and development model of each sovereign state;
  • the inadmissibility of unilateral approaches to solving problems, hegemonism and coercion in any of their manifestations;
  • attention to the “rational concerns” of all countries in the security sphere;
  • the inadmissibility of expanding military alliances, “hybrid” wars and wars “at foreign hands”;
  • resolving differences and disputes peacefully, “eliminating the root causes of conflicts”;
  • All states and their associations should be free to choose foreign partners and models of international interaction.

“No state or group of states should control international affairs, dispose of the destinies of other countries, and monopolize opportunities for development,” the declaration states.

  2. Two clowns + EU (the institution, not its members) + Turkey + Trump are the circus of the new millenium.

    • For a countrey collapsing, they will be nothing short of China’s lapdog. They won’t figure in any world order.
