In Russia, many individuals are focused on the destruction of Ukraine as a state. Meanwhile, the Kremlin authorities claim a supposed “willingness to negotiate,” reports the UK Ministry of Defence on X.
It is reported that recently, the so-called “senator” from the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia, Dmitry Rogozin, who had recently boasted about destroying Ukrainian books, called for the eradication of Ukrainian identity in its infancy. He also claimed that any truce with Ukraine would mean “certain death for our children.”
The British intelligence emphasized that these comments are the latest in a long series of anti-Ukrainian statements by Russian officials aimed at denying and threatening Ukrainian identity and culture.
“There are likely many individuals within the Russian state who retain maximalist objectives for the war, including the destruction of Ukrainian culture, identity, and statehood. This is despite the alleged Russian willingness to negotiate, as reiterated by presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on July 1, 2024,” the report stated.
The intelligence also reminded that in 2017, Russian leader Vladimir Putin claimed that “not all countries have sovereignty.”
It is noted that nearly three weeks ago, Ukraine launched an offensive operation in the Kursk region. A military command and buffer zone have already been established there.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine will bring the war to Russian territory. He also mentioned that the criminals who brought devastation to Ukraine will face devastation at home.

“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a video address from the Sumy region, near the Psel River a few kilometers from the border with Russia.
“913 days ago, Russia waged war against us, including through the Sumy region. It violated not only sovereign borders but also the limits of cruelty and common sense. Its endless goal was one thing: to destroy us. Today, however, we are celebrating Ukraine’s 33rd Independence Day. What the enemy brought to our land has now returned to its own home. And those who wanted to turn our lands into a buffer zone must now consider that their country might become a buffer federation,” the President said.
He emphasized that the enemy must know that every point in Russia posing a threat to the state and its people will eventually face a Ukrainian response.
“For all our people who would prefer never to know the names of these cursed places: Savasleyka, Olenya, Engels. Unfortunately, Ukrainians do know them. And so our enemy will also know what Ukrainian retribution looks like,” he added.
Zelenskyy stressed that Russia will not dictate red lines to Ukrainians, as Ukraine will choose its own path.
“The faded eyes of their leader see the whole world as a gray zone. But we will not allow the land where the blue-and-yellow flag rightfully belongs to be turned into a gray zone. A sick old man from Red Square, who constantly threatens everyone with a red button, will not dictate any red lines to us. How we live, which path we take, and what choices we make will be determined only by Ukraine and Ukrainians. That is how independence works,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

Ze once again proving he is Ukrainian, has Ukraine’s best interests at heart and has developed well as a Statesman.
Those who poked fun at his former career and still do failed to consider that Politicians are above all else, performers who have to act, be able to act and hold the attention of their audience.
Or they can be genuine people who do actually love and care about their Country and people.
I admit that I was one of those who poked fun at him. But, I was wrong. Who knows how he would’ve performed as a president if there were peace (or with “only” the small war in Donbas), but the fact is that he’s done a swell job during wartime, and this is obviously what counts right now.
There were some here who did, but it matters not, none of us can claim to have been correct for all our lives.
As for how well he would have done had there not been a war, I think that as Ukraine was being carried along on a virtual tidal wave of progress, he would have had to make some spectacular fuck ups to ruin anything.

Lastly, ofp, real friends don’t need to apologise or expect one. Real friends don’t keep pointing out mistakes the other made.

I’m proud of the fact that as a Poro man, I gave Zel the benefit of the doubt back in 2019, due entirely to almost all my contacts assuring me that he was the right man.
They have been proved right many times over.
What I find so sad is that his fresh, young for his age face in 2021, has now transformed into a haggard, careworn face appearing ten years older than his true age.
This I’m afraid is a metaphor for the agony that nazi fiends have put Ukraine through. Beautiful young girls are now crawling on their stomachs with sniper rifles, when they should be enjoying their lives to the full.

Scradge, Zelensky’s face is not only a reflection of the horrors the Nazi regime has brought over Ukraine, but the pathetic methodologies of our so-called friends. I’m sure that a few wrinkles were caused by Bide, Scholz, et all.
Negotiations with an entity that has absolutely no interest to make concessions or concessions that it will abide by is as superfluous as Jennifer Aniston in a gay club. It’s never going to work, and history has shown more than enough that this is so. Those who wish to negotiate are morons who ignore reality.

This is why it is futile and dangerous to spare terrorists in order to “repair relations” or prevent escalation. They are absolutely determined.
The Moscow Nazis understand only one language, that of force. Any other tool leads to encouraging Moscow to perpetrate even more terror and violence.
The West drapes itself in this almost infantile posture where just and equitable peaces end up falling on the table as if by magic or appearing in the magic cauldron of international relations. It will never happen.

The World has done so with North Korea and probably other shitholes, I think the perception is that moskovia is ‘bigger’ than it really is production wise, also we think we still need that cheap Gas.
The ‘west’ just needs to wake up and realise we don’t actually need moskovia as such.
