U.K. PM Boris Johnson’s potential successor Rishi Sunak is getting his priorities straight, saying “I’ll fly over to back Zelensky” and do “whatever it takes to defeat Vladimir Putin’s invasion.”

This is excellent news for Ukraine. Rishi is the current front runner in what is now a three horse race between him, Liz Truss and Penny Mordaunt. The two ladies have both indicated that they will carry on where Boris left off and now Rishi says the same.
Ukraine will have a staunch British PM supporting them regardless of which one gets the top job. The second and third placed candidates will be guaranteed top cabinet posts in the new team.
Also: there is talk amongst Tory backroom staff of a new cabinet post: Special Ambassador for Ukraine. Apparently Boris has already indicated that he would be up for it if it happens.
