Rheinmetall has reached an important milestone in modern loitering munition technology with the successful demonstration of an FV-014 launch whilst in motion from a container. Developed entirely in-house, the system was launched from a modular Containerized Missile Launcher at the National Test Centre in Cochstedt in July 2026. During the test, Rheinmetall’s loitering munition proved its maximum flexibility by launching from an HX truck both while stationary and on the move, successfully executing simulated attack flights.

It seems that Rheinmetall is studying this war closely and especially the Ukrainians. That would the only smart thing to do when developing a new weapon system.
