Serhiy Khlan, adviser to the chairman of the Kherson OVA, wrote about this on Facebook .
According to him, the invaders launched 3 rockets into the lighthouse.
The Adzhigol lighthouse is the tallest such building in Ukraine, located near the village of Rybalche.
“Two hits in the base, one in the structure. It is paradoxical that the Russian engineer Vladimir Shukhov built it. The openwork metal structure made the lighthouse extremely aesthetic and attractive for tourists – Ukrposhta at one time even put into circulation a stamp with its image. And what’s the point. No one needs lighthouses these days with GPS. Is this the scum suckers way of saying nah nah nah nah or that they’re going to hold their breath until they turn blue because they’re losing? These people are really really sick
Most of their targets make no sense other than to steal, to kill, and to destroy. They want to wipe every essence of Ukrainian heritage off the map. My thought was perhaps they took it out thinking it was an observation post. But most likely just did it to be mean.
Likely when its repaired it will be painted yellow and blue instead of commie red :))
