I smell some backroom deals going on here. This guy couldn’t even beat Emmers, so what made the GOP change their mind about him? They all know his anti-Ukrainian rhetoric, so I’m thinking something has gone on behind the scenes.
Tom Emmer was probably the best of the bunch, but he didn’t kiss trumpkov’s ass enough, so trumpkov torpedoed Emmer’s speaker bid.
Mike Johnson is terrible, but trumpkov liked him, so that got him the “freedumb cockus” vote. And maybe some of the mainstream Republicans just gave up and didn’t want to be a laughingstock any more.

The problem with the American current Administration, is they want to bundle everything in their bills. Corruption is much more prevalent.
I heard Johnson prefers more individual bills, that’s why he voted against the bill. Not so much Ukraine, as all the FAT in the bill for personal favours.
