What can be done to repair this vital friendship?

Appears to be quite a sticky wicket I do not have an answer to. At best a tangled web at worst a descent into madness. A start would be perhaps dropping the grain lawsuit.
Looking at a previous Ukrainian / Polish dispute. A renewal of strategic dialogue requires each state to move beyond the current stalemate and reconceptualize it’s relationship to the other while disengaging from a discourse of blame.
Zelensky must come to his senses and stop this complete nonsense. To ruin a good and vital friendship just to sell a few tons of grain is not worth it.
