“All relevant services are working at the site of the tram collision on Glubochitskaya Street. The causes of the accident are being established. Six people were preliminarily injured. They are currently receiving medical assistance. Trams No. 14 and 18 are delayed in the direction of Otradny Avenue,” the city authorities said in a statement.

According to the Patrol Police, traffic on Glubochitskaya Street is difficult in both directions.

At the same time, local publics report that a driverless tram rolled down from above, smashing about 10 cars, and it stopped after crashing into a tram that was moving in the opposite direction.

“A tram crashed into about 10 cars at full speed and stopped only against another tram. The number of victims is still unknown,” the Telegram channels said .
