In Zaporizhzhia Region, a railway bridge between Melitopol and Tokmak, used by Russians to deliver weapons and military equipment, has been blown up.

The relevant statement was made by the local Telegram channel, Ria-Melitopol, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“This afternoon we have received information that a railway bridge between Melitopol and Tokmak was blown up. The explosion took place in the occupied village of Liubymivka. This railway line was used by rashists to deliver weapons and military equipment to the front line by train,” the report states.

A reminder that, on July 3, 2022, Russian troops blocked the exit from the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol, as the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed one of four military bases located at the local airfield.

  1. They also hinted that they used weapons obtained under Lend-Lease for this.

“Keep greetings from uncle Land Lisa,” the message says.

As noted in ” Sprotiv ” (a website created by the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine), “unknown heroes blew up the railway bridge.”

“It is not difficult to guess that it was along this branch that the occupiers were transporting warehouses with weapons and military equipment to the front. However, now, for “technical reasons,” help may not come,” they noted.
