In the Russian church, nuclear weapons are considered a “guarantor of peace.”
The Russian Orthodox Church allowed the consecration of nuclear weapons.
Archpriest Kostyantyn Tatarintsev stated this in an interview with the propagandist ” RIA-Novosti “. According to him, the consecration of nuclear weapons is “completely acceptable”.
“Nuclear weapons have enormous destructive power. So, on the one hand, one might assume that sanctifying something that sows death is unacceptable. But on the other hand, it is a weapon of deterrence, so that those who have it do not use it against us , that is, it is a guarantor of peace. The Moskali easily forget they also “consecrated” the troops before they invaded Ukraine. How do they square up peace with invasions. Peace would be being an adult and handle things politically instead of by force.
This is not a church, this is just another chapter of the crime syndicate… a mafia tentacle of this most evil mafia kraken. At best, call it a pseudo ruskie orthodox church, or former ruskie orthodox church.
I swear this is out of the Twilight zone. No one can make this shit up. I wonder why Russian Othodox church hasn’t been kick out of orthodoxy. This can’t be part of anyone’s vision for this church.
FYI, the russian orthodox church (all lower case!) is out of communion with all other Orthodox churches and has been for some time. The Ukrainians, under protest from the roc, asked to establish their own Orthodox church years ago. This was approved and recognized, I believe, in 2018. The russan church is nothing but an organ of the old KGB and I believe its “patriarch” Cyrill was, in fact, a former KGB official.
So, please don’t associate ANYTHING from the roc with The Orthodox churches.
