In occupied Crimea, the popular A-95 gasoline has disappeared. For several days now, it can only be filled with special coupons. Or at non-network gas stations, where its reserves still remain in storage. Tourists are panicking in search of fuel, fearing that they will not be able to cross at least the Crimean Bridge, since they will have to stand in a traffic jam for hours before the crossing.
Meanwhile, “black” gas stations have reappeared on the peninsula, offering to sell fuel one and a half times more expensive.

“Are we back in the Soviet Union?”
Trouble is brewing again on the occupied peninsula – now the popular A-95 gasoline has disappeared. Lately, its price has been rising almost daily, and now it is simply gone.
“We were standing in line to fill up, when there were a few cars left in front of us, the gas station attendant said that now they would only let us in with special coupons. Coupons are issued only to enterprises and organizations in Crimea. And we have to go home tomorrow, what should we do?” – the Russian woman, who is currently near Alushta, is indignant.

“What’s happening? There’s no connection, Telegram doesn’t work, WhatsApp doesn’t work, it’s impossible to call anyone, you try to send SMS, but they don’t reach you. We’re back to sending SMS that don’t even reach you. I arrived at the gas station, and they say: we’ve run out of gas, now we’re giving it out with coupons. In the sense of coupons? What’s happening? Have we returned to the Soviet Union?” – a resident of Crimea shares in the video.
Now she is looking for free Wi-Fi hotspots.
The authorities of the occupied peninsula are trying to calm motorists. They call the problems at the gas station temporary and blame everything on the weather, which is why the sea crossing is not working, which is why, they say, there are interruptions in fuel deliveries. But everything will improve in the near future.
Gasoline price went up and disappeared
However, Crimeans do not believe these statements.
“Gasoline prices have been rising for a month now, and recently they have been rising more and more. The reason is clear. But the mainland has no business with us, they transfer everything that is left to military bases. And we buy gasoline from speculators, like in the 90s,” a resident of Sonyachnohirske tells OBOZ.UA.

In fact, the fuel problems in Russia began after a series of strikes by Ukrainian drones on oil depots. The scale of these attacks can be judged by Russian statements about the disappearance of mobile communications and the Internet.
Recently, Russia has begun to combat our drones by disabling communications. For example, after the attack on a refinery in the Komi Republic in the north, mobile communications and the Internet were down for several days.
And in the spring, the Russian Federation banned the export of gasoline. This ban is now in effect until the end of the summer. Along with Crimea, gasoline has begun to be sold in Transbaikalia using coupons from enterprises and organizations.

“Now we sell coupons in Telegram channels. Their price is one and a half times higher than at the gas station. For example, at the gas station A-95 costs 70 rubles (35 UAH), and at speculators from 100 rubles (50 UAH). Gas stations have also appeared on the roads. However, it is unknown what you will fill there and how far you will go on this donkey’s urine,” shares a pensioner from Alushta.
Telegram channels also report at which gas stations A-95 has appeared. However, queues form very quickly here and in an hour or a half the ad is no longer relevant – everything is sold out. Those who drive on gas are also stocking up on fuel – just in case, they fear that the crisis may drag on and spread to other types of fuel.
Tourists packing suitcases
Russian tourists who came on vacation in their cars are panicking. Not only will they have to stand in line at the Kerch Bridge for three to six hours and waste fuel, but they also have to find it.

“Our landlady suggested we fill up with gas from her neighbor, of course, more expensive. But we bought 20 liters of A-95 from him for 90 rubles. He said he knew gas stations where there was still fuel, so he stood in line there from early in the morning and bought more. Now he’s making money,” the Muscovite complains.
In Crimea, the price of gasoline canisters has increased. An old 20-liter canister is sold for 900–1000 rubles (450–500 UAH), and a new one for 1400–2500 rubles (700–1250 UAH) and even for 3000 rubles (1500 UAH).

Some tourists are already canceling their vacations and are rushing to leave the peninsula as soon as possible so as not to get stuck here at all due to the fuel crisis.
“We still have three days until the end of our vacation, but we packed up and left. We had a hard time filling up with gas, and bought a canister that was three times more expensive. The main thing is to cross the bridge, where our hometown is, and we can still find fuel. They say there are long lines at gas stations, but it’s okay, we’ll endure it. Otherwise, we’ll be stuck here until the fall,” complains a resident of Nizhny Novgorod who came to Yalta with her family.
Now the lines to leave the peninsula have stretched for at least three hours, and those wishing to leave are getting closer. Because of the checks, people are standing in the heat, forced to turn on the air conditioners in their cars to avoid dying from the heat.
Some even cooperate: first everyone cools down together for an hour in one car, then in another. There are also those who offer car cooling for money to those who don’t have air conditioning in their cars, and whose children are suffering from the heat and can’t sleep.
You can also buy gasoline from smart locals on the way to the bridge. Here it is sold in 10-20 liter canisters and costs 100-120 rubles (50-60 UAH). The price is steep, but drivers have no choice.

“Have we returned to the Soviet Union?”
Yes, with the help of the vampire and Ukraine. Have fun in the early 20th century.
Fuck them. If they want to get the price of gasoline reduced, go to Moscow and start complaining.
