Putin’s special envoy Dmitriev threatened the US with sanctions and accused Ukraine of disrupting the talks

The Russian dictator’s special representative, Kirill Dmitriev, said that US President Donald Trump’s sanctions will have “absolutely no” effect on the Russian economy, but on the contrary will hit Washington.

He said this in a comment to Russian media during his visit to the United States,  Censor.NET reports .

About US sanctions

According to Dmitriev, the consequences of the sanctions will allegedly be felt primarily by Americans due to rising gasoline prices.

“Prices on oil markets have already risen and will continue to rise,” Putin’s special envoy claims.

In addition, Dmitriev accused Ukraine of allegedly “delaying and disrupting negotiations ” with Russia.

According to the Russian, Kyiv is allegedly acting “at the request of the British and Europeans, who want the conflict to continue.”

“We see that it is Ukraine that does not want to resolve the accumulated issues. We will convey to our American colleagues that Ukraine, unfortunately, is disrupting the necessary dialogue,” Dmytriev added.
