Putin is due to arrive in North Korea today.

Today, for the first time in 25 years, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit North Korea . Hundreds of posters of the head of the Kremlin were placed on the streets of Pyongyang on this occasion.

Recently, videos of North Korea preparing for Putin’s arrival began to circulate online. The footage shows that on one of the streets along which the Russian president will ride, hundreds of his portraits and Russian flags were hung.

According to Kremlin statements released Monday, Putin will visit North Korea on June 18-19 and travel to Vietnam on June 19-20. This is his first trip to North Korea since 2000.

It is also known that today the Kremlin published a document confirming that Russia is considering the possibility of signing a “strategic partnership” agreement with North Korea.

At the same time, Vladimir Putin’s diplomatic adviser Yuri Ushakov told Russian media that “important, very significant documents” would be signed, referring to the “possible conclusion of an agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership.”
