Harris believes that Trump will play along with Putin and will not help Ukraine.
US Vice President Kamala Harris said that former President Donald Trump will not help Ukraine if he wins the election. According to her, such a scenario would be dangerous for the United States, CNN reports .
At an event in Michigan on October 21, Harris spoke about her opponent’s candidacy in the election. The vice president believes that Trump does not support Ukraine in the war against Russia.
“Trump said he would solve the Ukraine and Russia issue in one day. Understand that he is suggesting that he give up,” Harris said.
The Vice President added that Trump would force Ukraine to surrender in the fight against the aggressor. She noted that this would violate the sovereignty of our country:
“If Donald Trump were to become president, Vladimir Putin would be sitting in Kyiv and understanding what that means for America and our standing in the world.”
In September, Trump refused to say whether he wanted Ukraine to win. In addition, the Republican called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a “traveling salesman” and emphasized that it was he who allowed the war against Russia to begin.
