Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on U.S.-Russia relations: “We have two leaders of two great countries who are very good friends and very focused on how we can strengthen shared objectives and shared interests.”
I definitely agree that we have two almost identical leaders.

Reports are coming in that Trump’s administration is considering recognizing Ukraine’s Crimea as russian territory.
If confirmed, this would be a betrayal of the highest order. It violates international law and constitutes a complete betrayal of Ukraine.

Don’t worry about Voice of America — it will be restored under the supervision of Tucker Carlson.
By the way, Tucker Carlson recently suggested that Europe would be better off if Hitler had won WWII.
So, we can expect a great new era for the free press — just like under Hitler.
P.S. Unfortunately, we live in a time when I need to clarify whether this is a joke or real news. As of now, it’s a sarcastic joke — but it may actually come true in the coming weeks.

…….
What Will Happen Next After Trump’s Phone Call with Putin?
I don’t want anyone to have illusions or false hopes. So, here’s what we should expect.
By now, it should be clear to everyone that Trump has no regard for Ukraine. To him, Ukraine is merely an obstacle to a strong relationship with russia. To eliminate this obstacle, he first had to ensure that russia regained control of the Kursk region. Trump deliberately weakened Ukraine so russia could recapture Kursk.
The next step, as described by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, is for Trump to reunite with his good friend — the war criminal Putin — and rebuild U.S.-russia relations. For that to happen, he must either force Ukraine to capitulate (which Ukraine will not accept) or blame Ukraine for refusing “peace.”
That’s why Trump called Putin — to create an excuse. Predictably, Putin will propose unacceptable peace terms at Ukraine’s expense. Trump will then claim Putin is ready for a ceasefire, but when Ukraine rejects the terms, Trump will accuse Ukraine of not wanting “peace.”
He will scapegoat Ukraine and blame Zelensky for the failure of negotiations.
I really hope to be wrong about this. But unfortunately, so far, I’ve been right — and I fear this time will be no different.

……..
Sometimes, history has a sense of humor…
The conversation between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is set to take place on the exact anniversary of the treaty signing that marked the “annexation” of Crimea by Russia – March 18, 2014. And if yesterday’s rumors that the United States is prepared to recognize Crimea as Russian prove true, this will not just be a farce but a full-blown devil’s carnival of history.
Incidentally – or perhaps not, but here we are – on this very day exactly 85 years ago, on March 18, 1940, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini held a meeting that became a turning point in their alliance. Three months later, Italy would enter the war as Nazi Germany’s closest ally against Britain and France.
We know how that story ended. But millions never lived to see its conclusion – no one had bothered to inform them of what had been decided by two men, blinded by vanity and impunity.

The KP reports:
“Meanwhile, the Russian ruble is making noticeable gains ahead of Putin and Trump’s conversation today. The last time it reached 82 per USD was in the summer of 2023.”
Thanks to trumpkov, ruZZia is looking like it will come out of its vile war (if it comes out at all) richer and more powerful and with even more scum-sucking friends.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the ruble. The Central bank control the value, not the free market. Obviously putler is going to order the Central bank to buy rubles to make their economy look strong.
