“We can confirm the very fact of the defeat. Regarding the operation itself, we can neither confirm nor deny. But, yes, great news. Putin will be really mad. And the reaction in the Kremlin is really very hot and palpable, because they tried to carefully hide and protect the Su-57 “, – said the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov on the air of the information marathon.

He specified that Su-57s were not flown directly into the airspace of Ukraine, because the Russians were afraid that these planes might be shot down.

“Ultimately, it is known that Russia overestimated the characteristics of this aircraft in order to sell and be present on the international arms market,” Yusov said.

At the same time, Russia used these aircraft to launch missile strikes on Ukrainian civilian objects.

“Indeed, there is information about the possible destruction of two Su-57s, as well as about the dead and wounded occupants who were at the airport at that moment,” Yusov added.

The representative of the GUR added that it is quite fair that Russian military facilities, and indeed aircraft, which take part in the genocidal war and in striking peaceful cities of Ukraine, are damaged on the territory of the Russian Federation.

“There is already public information from the enemy’s information field. The enemy himself confirms the defeat of one unit. Satellite images have been released that clearly show the defeat of one aircraft. Accordingly, when there is objective confirmation, we will talk about two. Currently there is information about the defeat of two Regarding the Su-57, we still have to wait for objective confirmation,” Yusov said.

He clarified that it is probably a lesion.

“But, we understand, this is a complex technological process, and only the diagnosis of damage will take the enemy a lot of time, and the restoration, accordingly, the same. And if we talk about the fact that this is, by and large, an artificial product, the Su-57 for Putin’s army, the minus of any unit is a serious blow to the enemy’s capabilities,” Yusov said.
