Silicon Curtain
Jason Jay Smart is a political adviser who has lived and worked in Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Latin America. Due to his work with the democratic opposition to Vladimir Putin, Smart was made persona non grata for life by Russia in 2010. Jason is a Special Correspondent at the Kyiv Post. It’s the state of US support for Ukraine that we will discuss today. ———-

Jonathon and Jason discuss the war over a beer or two in Kyiv.
Good to hear the insightful opinions of these two decent men.
In the words of Gary Kasparov :
“Europe must now fight to save Ukraine and itself as bravely as Ukraine has been fighting to save itself and Europe for a decade. The resources are there, but the courage is not. Stop pretending Trump will ever turn on Putin and face reality and fight.”
America is transitioning into an anarchic power whose ruling regime has almost nothing in common with liberal democracy. Like putlerstan, it’s run by an oligarchy that looks after its own and has created no room for maneuver: one high level piece of crud can easily be replaced by another.
The war can only end with the total defeat of putler and putlerism, or God forbid, putler overrunning Ukraine and murdering everyone he doesn’t like. *
Europe could help Ukraine to win this but shows no sign whatsoever of doing what is right. All we can look forward to is more fudge and indecision.
The question is not whether Krasnov turns against putler (he won’t) but will his wretched regime become an open ally to the rat nazi when Zel turns down the atrocious “peace deal?”
*The KI reports that putlerstan will soon have 1.5 million reserves available for its genocide plan. A horrifying thought :
I would love to join those two and discuss things over a beer or two or three.
Anyone that gets banned from entering mafia land for life, is a special person.
Yes, that’s a fact.
