The agreement was signed by the two dictators back in June.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma a draft law on the ratification of the strategic partnership agreement with North Korea . This is reported by the Russian mass media.

“Putin submitted to the State Duma a draft on the ratification of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Russian Federation and the DPRK,” RIA Novosti writes .

No other details are given in this regard.

What is the essence of the agreement between the Russian Federation and the DPRK

As UNIAN wrote, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong-un signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement on June 19 this year , when Putin personally visited Pyongyang.

The full text of this document was published by the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCTA) on June 20.

Many observers evaluated the clauses of the agreement as the actual conclusion of a military alliance between the two countries. In particular, the contract provides for:

  • mutual assistance and coordination of actions in the event of a threat of armed aggression against one of the parties to the contract;
  • immediate provision of “military and other assistance by all available means” in the event of an armed attack on the other party to the agreement;
  • refusal to conclude treaties with third countries directed against the second party to this treaty, refusal to provide its territory for an attack on the other party to the treaty.

It should be added that today the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, declared that the DPRK actually joined the war against our country.
