Russian invaders tonight, January 7, fired on the outskirts of Zaporozhye . This was announced by the secretary of the Zaporozhye City Council Anatoly Kurtev.
“The explosions that the whole city has recently heard are another proof that Russia is a country without honor and conscience. Despite the fact that the enemy allegedly announced a temporary ceasefire for Christmas, the Russians fired on the outskirts of Zaporozhye,” he said.
The secretary of the City Council added that now all the details of the missile attack are being clarified.
“But one thing we now know for sure: Russia is a terrorist country. And be careful! There is a threat of repeated shelling, so you are in safe places,” Kurtev urged.
According to local Telegram channels , the Russians could have shelled Zaporozhye with S-300 air defense systems and multiple launch rocket systems. The invaders, according to unconfirmed information, could use cluster munitions during the shelling.
However, already in the first hours, Russian troops violated their own “truce”, which was also noticed in the Pentagon . They also called Putin’s ceasefire announcement a “propaganda stunt.”
So, on January 6, Russian invaders, despite the so-called “Christmas truce”, killed two civilians in the Donetsk region , and seven more were injured of varying severity. Also, during the day, the Russian invaders fired at the Kherson region 39 times , as a result, one person died, seven were injured.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , during today, January 7, the Russians launched one air strike and carried out seven attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on Ukrainian positions.
On the evening of January 7, the Russians also attacked the Kharkiv region . As a result of the attack, there are arrivals in the city of Merefa, which is located 30 kilometers from Kharkov. So far, one death is known.
