Putin says that European leaders are pigs

Vladimir Putin says that European leaders are “pigs”, who he will personally replace with leaders more to the taste of the Russian leader. Does that sound like a recipe for peace in Europe? It doesn’t really to me, actually, it sounds like war.

You’re right. History shows that dictators won’t stop even if they’re appeased. Here’s an excerpt from my 2022 article:

“Why Putin Will Not End the War in Ukraine

Why will Putin not end the war in Ukraine, even though he pretends that he is trying to do so? Why now is the whole world, except for five states, four of which are dictatorships and the fifth country I can’t even find on the map, opposed to this dirty war?

Why does this concern us all?

It is not only because people are dying in Ukraine and we care about them. It is also because Putin is a corrupt dictator and he will stop at nothing, even unleashing World War III, to stay in power.

The facts:

Putin bombed Chechnya and kept it within the Russian Federation against the will of the people of Chechnya. (1994-1996, 1999-2009).
Putin contributed to the destabilization Georgia’s territorial integrity and breakaway of Abkhazia and South Ossetia from Georgia. (2008).
Putin has been destabilizing Ukraine for more than eight years. He grossly violated the norms of international law and he violated the Budapest Memorandum. Putin forcibly and illegally annexed the Republic of Crimea to Russia, and he is also guilty of the Russian invasion of the territory of Donbass, which led to the creation of two illegal states: the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR respectively). (2014 – present).
Putin’s government pays Russian cyber trolls to spread online propaganda in other countries and interfere in their elections.
The Russian government bribes some foreign politicians to destabilize their countries.
In Syria, Putin’s army bombed civilians and supported the Assad regime, which used chemical weapons, prohibited by international agreements, against citizens of Syria. (2015-2017).
Putin pledged financial and military support for Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to help Lukashenko silence hundreds of thousands of Belarusians protested the fraudulent election results. (2020).
Putin sent troops to Kazakhstan to suppress democratic protests there. (2022).
So far, Putin has gotten away with everything

Why? It is because no one wants to start World War III, especially for the sake of a country that is so far away.

The lack of serious action on the part of the free world has taught Putin that he can get away with anything, not only in Russia, but also in the international arena. Although during the first war in Ukraine, voting at the UN showed that 158 countries did not support the Russian Federation on the invasion and only ten countries were in favour of it. Many of those ten countries were dictatorships.

But now Putin has made a fatal mistake. Ukraine did not, and will not, give up. Her people stood up to defend their country. For more than 20 days, Ukraine has been holding the line against a huge army of Russian invaders.

The whole world has come to the defense of Ukraine now. Free countries will not let a corrupt Russian dictator tell them how to live. Contrary to Putin’s propaganda, they do not even allow the United States, their ally and a world leader, to do so.

The problem, in my opinion, is that the inhabitants of the countries of the free world have little idea of what a corrupt dictator is. They live their whole life in democratic countries with low levels of corruption and they have no idea who they are dealing with.

At the end of his or her term in office, such as the presidency, the leader of a democratic country will leave his or her post. However, the former leader’s life is not in any danger because he or she is no longer the president. For a dictator, especially one like Putin, when the vast majority of his money and assets are in the hands of his oligarch henchmen, maintaining power and his post is literally a matter of life and death. Defeat in the war in Ukraine may lead to the loss of Putin’s power, and, therefore, threatens his life.

And now, Putin is ready to drag the whole world with him to the grave, if necessary. He has lied to the Russian people too much and for far too long. Now he will not be able to admit it.

Putin will not stop. The whole world is in danger — not only Ukraine and Russia, but all of us.”

Fast forward to the present day: by the way, Russia is already in a state of war with Europe and the democratic world.

  1. putler says that European leaders are “pigs”, who he will personally replace with leaders more to his taste.

They’d need to taste of rat then.
But his ambitions are achievable without invasion :
Fixostan and Orbanistan : already on board.
Serbia : wobbles occasionally but still essentially a putler shithole.
Austria : plays both sides, but essentially a putler country.
Moldova – in grave risk of a putler coup.
    Czechia : 50-50 putler/democracy split.
    Romania : a putler target.
    Germany: AfD
France : Le Pen (or her successor).
    UK : Farage.
    Ireland: Sinn Fein/IRA
    Holland : Wilders.
Italy : could go full putler.
    Someone had better wake up.

  2. Well there’s a New Year statement from someone who is a dear friend of the US president. So much for peace negotiations from these two. There is a silver lining…Trump won’t get his Nobel Peace prize for 2025

  3. Pigs are much better than their reputation. And, they certainly are much smarter than many humans. No, the European leaders are not pigs, but they are spineless cowards.
