Putin says foreign troops in Ukraine will be “legitimate targets”

Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin says Russia “will consider any troops on the territory of Ukraine to be legitimate targets for destruction”

RIA Novosti reported the information.

At the same time, Putin claimed that Moscow is “ready to respect security guarantees” that are supposed to be developed for both Russia and Ukraine, though he admitted that the issue “has not yet been discussed at a serious level.”

He added that “after reaching agreements on a lasting peace, the presence of foreign troops on Ukrainian territory will not make sense,” and stressed that if such agreements are concluded, Russia “will implement them in full.”

  • Separately, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that “Putin invited Zelenskyy to Moscow to talk, not to surrender.”

  1. ‘He added that “after reaching agreements on a lasting peace, the presence of foreign troops on Ukrainian territory will not make sense,”’

I agree. All foreign (ruSSian) troops should leave then.

  2. “after reaching agreements on a lasting peace, the presence of foreign troops on Ukrainian territory will not make sense,”

You don’t have a say in any of this, just like Ukraine had no say in NK troops in russia.

    • As a result of the resignation of “big Ange”; aka the chiseling crook Rayner, Dave Lammy has now become deputy PM and Yvette Cooper becomes Foreign Secretary.
Lammy is a big Ukraine supporter. As for Cooper, I’ve no idea.
