The Russian dictator stated that Russia was supposedly “the sole guarantor of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.”
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has said that Russia “did not start the war.” He said Moscow was responding to hostilities launched by Ukraine with Western support. His words were quoted by Russian media.
At a meeting with Russian Navy personnel, Putin made a number of absurd statements about the war in Ukraine. In particular, he said that the occupiers were supposedly “heroes of the North Caucasus Military District who are writing history.”
The Russian dictator also said that Ukraine is “publicly reviving Nazi ideology.” According to him, therefore, there is nothing surprising in Ukraine’s aggression against peaceful people.
Putin also expressed confidence that the war would end sooner or later. He added that “victory will be for Russia, and the enemy will be defeated.”
In addition, the Russian dictator stated that Russia allegedly “was the sole guarantor of Ukraine’s territorial integrity until Kyiv declared Moscow an enemy.”
Separately, Putin spoke about the “unity of the Russian people.” He assured that in Ukraine, “everyone is fighting and quarreling like spiders in a jar,” and they are “sharing stolen money and destroying each other.”
The Kremlin dictator did not forget to mention the “importance” of Russian propaganda:
“It is necessary to imbue the consciousness of the Russian people with the importance of the cause served by the fighters of the SVO (a propaganda euphemism used to describe Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – UNIAN), and they serve the Motherland.”
