Russian dictator Putin once again tried to convince that the military operations against Ukraine allegedly do not harm the Russian economy in any way, and he called the strikes on Ukrainian territory a “response” to the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian refineries.

He stated this at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum,  Censor.NET reports .

Putin’s statement on Ukraine

He stated that Russian companies have already joined the work to protect the refinery, and “the result is already there.”

” There is a second (method of combating attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine – ed.). Strike back so that [they] don’t feel like harming us. That’s all ,” Putin threatens.

On the state of oil refineries

Putin also tried to convince the audience that the night before last, Russian air defenses had allegedly repelled all drone attacks on refineries — according to him, Ukrainian drones had tried to attack three oil refineries. He also claimed that only 10% of the repair work at the refinery was currently left to be carried out.
