Also, before negotiations with the United States, the Russian dictator stated that Russia is ready to wage war in Europe.

The Russians rejected a revised peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine after five hours of talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US officials failed to produce results. The Times analyzed the meeting .

Journalists recalled that the meeting, attended by US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, took place after the Russian dictator accused Europe of trying to sabotage peace talks with “completely unacceptable” demands.

At the same time, in his statements, which did not offer much hope for rapid progress in achieving peace, Putin emphasized that Russia was “ready” to wage war in Europe.

“We don’t plan to go to war with Europe. But if Europe wants to and starts, we’re ready now,” he threatened.

Witkoff and Kushner, meanwhile, were forced to wait several hours before meeting with the Russian dictator. The meeting began around 7:00 PM local time and ended around midnight.

Afterwards, Putin’s adviser Yuri Ushakov called the meeting “useful, constructive, and significant.” However, he added:

“We are no closer to resolving the crisis in Ukraine, and there is still much work ahead.”

According to him, both sides agreed not to disclose the substance of the negotiations. However, “there were some points on which we could agree,” and Putin “did not hide our critical, even negative, position on a number of proposals,” Ushakov noted.

“The two businessmen were met at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport by Kirill Dmitriev, the head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, after they flew in from Florida on Vitkoff’s plane. While Dmitriev gave the two Americans a tour of Red Square, Putin was elsewhere in Moscow, attending an investment summit where he delivered a scathing assessment of European efforts to end the war,” The Times emphasized.

According to journalists, it most likely became clear that Putin rejected the revised peace agreement, accusing Ukraine’s European allies of having “only one goal – to completely block the entire peace process and put forward demands that are absolutely unacceptable to Russia.”

“After comments in which he apparently condemned Ukraine’s counter-proposal to the 28-point peace plan agreed upon during secret talks in Miami in October, Putin softened his stance during a meeting with Vitkoff and Kushner in the Kremlin. In his opening remarks, recorded by Russian state television, Putin said he was ‘glad’ to see the two American negotiators,” the publication adds.

In particular, the Russian dictator told them:

“You’ve walked around the city. It’s a wonderful city.”

  1. Europe are to blame, despite having never been invited to any talks. Of course it would never be the fault of the participants in the clown show conducted yesterday.

In particular, the Russian dictator told them:

Yeah, but don’t travel 10km outside of moscow or you will be transported back 200 years.

  2. I don’t understand. We keep seeing the economic disaster occurring, the depletion of military hardware and personnel and yet Russia remains stead fast on continuing the war they started. I understand authoritarians don’t give a damn about their citizens but at some point you hit rock bottom and need a change in attitude. Why not Russia now. Putin is playing on the West weaknesses and the West is oblivious. When will the West or Europe wake up to this threat. Sadly, history seems to be repeating once again.
