Retired British Colonel Glen Grant believes that Putin will continue to rely on Ukraine’s attrition in the war, as he considers the West too weak to give Kyiv the help it needs
He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
“The main Russian aim is to exhaust Ukraine and achieve a breakthrough, without a doubt. Putin perceives the West as being weak currently, providing him with a favorable opportunity to launch a strong attack. It’s evident that if a side lacks sufficient ammunition and manpower, it becomes vulnerable to attacks as the adversary exploits its weakness,” Grant explained.
The colonel emphasized that the resources used by Ukraine to defend Avdiivka could have been better used on the front line.
“Ukrainians did not help themselves by holding onto their positions for as long as they did, particularly in places like Avdiivka. This decision has cost Ukraine dearly in terms of resources that could have been better utilized in a more strategically prepared position along a straight line. Holding a pocket like Avdiivka requires significantly more soldiers compared to defending a straight line,” he said.
“Russia will undoubtedly continue pushing and utilizing all available resources, especially with the upcoming elections in Moscow, where Putin needs to demonstrate success not just in one town but across the board to validate his entire battle plan,” Grant added.
“Hence, this is a critical juncture for both Ukraine and Russia,” he summed up.
- On February 28, the 3rd Assault Brigade pushed the Russian troops out of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region. The day before, the occupying Russian forces had attacked the southeastern part of the town and entered it.
- On February 29, The UK Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian forces are likely planning to increase the momentum of attacks in the Avdiivka sector due to the poorly protected positions of Ukrainian forces.

That the West is weak is by now a well-known fact across this entire planet. But, just calling us weak is only half the truth. The West is partially a spineless coward and partially corrupted by mafia land. But, none of the above is something to be proud of.
I have exchanged private messages with the Colonel, who now lives in Latvia. He’s a top bloke, but he’s very angry with the allies, for good reason.
He hasn’t posted on social networks lately, but when I saw his last one a couple of weeks ago I saw something I missed. He usually writes about military matters, so this was unusual.
He pointed out that actress Megan Fox made disgusting racist comments about Ukrainian women.

But unfortunately she is very popular with a high profile in the US. No doubt the magaputler scrotes will be looking to get her on their shit-stained bandwagon.
This goes to show you that even famous people can be inbred morons and have evil tendencies. Megan Fox is also very jealous of the beauty of Ukrainian women, so it seems.
I hope that artists with Ukrainian connections will call her out for this.
Referring to a pic of herself on instagram, Fox wrote :

Some decent women objected:
“While Ukrainian women, Ukrainian people are going through the pure hell of genocide and extermination on a daily basis, you joke on blow up girls. Make some research on the context before speaking again. Words need responsibility,” one user wrote.”
“Another added, “Come to Ukraine and see what Ukrainian women are, who we are and what are we going through – daily. To realise what a catastrophic disrespectful shame you just written.”
They responded well to that dummy.👍

One person wrote, “It’s very rude of you to speak like that about Ukranian women, that’s how you showed yourself.” To which Fox replied, “Dear god. that is NOT what i meant. ukranian women are hot af and so in my imagination the blowup dolls would also be hot. let a girl make a joke for fucks sake.”
Putin got this totally wrong, the opposite is true. Nato, wakened up by the shock of a new war in Europe, is getting stronger again, while Russias military power decreases every single day and peripheral states are increasingly looking for better security partners. Apparently, Putin is shielded from this reality and thus still living in a dream land where his army is modern and new Wunderwaffen will decide the war. His bubble will only burst one day when revolting sodiers storm his palace and execute him, I guess. 🤔

Uh, I would like to hear a second opinion on this, by a military expert who knows the conditions at the Ukrainian frontline better. At least to me, admittedly an amateur in tactics and strategy, it seems that the positions surrounding Avdiivka, on convenient heights, had been strong ones and thus enabled the AFU to hold that city for so long. Actually, the new frontline, endangered from the very same heights that the RuSSians took over, is undeniably a weaker one and Ukrainian soldiers manning those trenches have already complained about that. 🤨
Right you are. A perimeter that must be defended also stretches out the enemy’s lines, and the heights were advantageous. I hope that the roaches won’t find a way to break through in their current lines, or even make the Ukrainian lines collapse. They could use that artillery ammo, ATACMS, Taurus, and F-16s very much right now…
