President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin “equated” goods from the occupied territories to Russian Donetsk and Luhansk regions . He has already signed the corresponding decree.

According to the document, residents of the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will receive humanitarian support. At the same time, certificates of origin of goods will be admitted on a par with Russian ones for government procurement.
The decree says that the Russian authorities took such a step to protect the rights and freedoms of residents of the occupied Ukrainian territories, and to prevent “a further decline in living standards in the context of the ongoing economic blockade” and the coronavirus pandemic.
Thus, the Kremlin actually admitted its direct participation in the conflict in Donbass and decided to aggravate the situation by integrating the occupied territories of Ukraine into the Russian economy.
