US President Donald Trump has responded to Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s statements about the possibility of a ceasefire in Ukraine.
“Putin made a promising statement, but it was incomplete. I would like to see a ceasefire from the Russian Federation. We hope that Russia will do the right thing,” he said.
He said his envoy Steve Witkoff was having serious talks in Moscow.

“I hear things are going well in Russia. Hopefully today we’ll get a sense of how things are going here,” Trump said.
According to him, the United States is discussing the territorial issue with Ukraine, including the lands that Kiev will lose.
“We will now see whether Russia will be in the deal, and if not, it will be a very disappointing moment for the world,” the American leader noted.
Trump said that in the context of the settlement in Ukraine, the issue of control over the Zaporizhzhya NPP is being discussed. He also spoke about Putin:
“I would be happy to meet him and talk to him, but we need to get this over with quickly.”

What a pathetic, sniveling, snotty, little statement from this bag of dog shit. This crook attacked Zelensky like a rabid junkyard dog in our most hallowed chamber for no reason, and now speaks like a spineless fairy over a blood-drinking vampire and his lack of cooperation.
Trump’s work to make us into a banana republic is almost complete.
