Russia’s request to involve North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine shows that its army is in a precarious state. Now Western countries must do everything to ensure Ukraine’s victory.
This was stated in a conversation with 24 Kanal by retired British Army Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon. He assesses the morale of the invading forces as low – desertion, problems with payments and reluctance to go to the front lines. In addition, the fighting is mainly ethnic recruits from the east of the country, and not wealthy residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Due to a shortage of recruits, the Kremlin ruler was forced to travel to North Korea and strengthen his occupation army with foreign troops:
“If the Russians have to ask foreign countries like North Korea to send troops into Ukraine, that’s a sign that Putin is in trouble. Now is the time to really strike a decisive blow against Russia.”

“Now is the time to really strike a decisive blow against Russia.”
But who is going to do that? Biden? Scholz? Meloni? Starmer? Macron? Who?
