Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has said that Russia needs to pay special attention to the nuclear triad in its new state arms program.
His statement is quoted by Russian media, Censor.NET reports .
“Of course, special attention should be paid to the nuclear triad, which was and remains the guarantor of Russia’s sovereignty and plays a key role in ensuring the balance of power in the world,” Putin said.
The dictator said that now the share of modern weapons and equipment in strategic nuclear forces is supposedly 95%.
“This is a good indicator, in fact, the highest among all nuclear powers in the world,” he added.
