European leaders have called for more pressure on Russia and increased aid for Ukraine.

European leaders condemned the missile and drone strike that Russia carried out on Ukraine on the night of September 7. In particular, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky called Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “a coward who attacks women and children.”

As Lipavsky emphasized in his post on the X network, “Putin pretends to want to end the war, but in reality he only wants to kill as many Ukrainians as possible.”

“Last night he launched over 800 drones and missiles, killing a mother and her two-month-old child. A coward who attacks women and children. Talking today about stopping aid to Ukraine means siding with the aggressor,” the Czech official noted.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also reacted to the Russian attack , stressing that the Kremlin “kills indiscriminately.”Read also:

“Europe fully supports Ukraine and will continue to support it. We are strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine, creating long-term security guarantees and strengthening sanctions to increase pressure on Russia. The killings must stop,” she said.

European Council President Antonio Costa also made his reaction to the massive Russian strike public.

“Talking about peace while simultaneously increasing bombing and attacking government buildings and homes is Putin’s version of ‘peace.’ Russia started this war, and Russia has decided to continue it,” he wrote.

According to Kosta, Europe should “strengthen Ukraine’s defense and increase pressure on Russia through additional sanctions, in close coordination” with allies and partners.

“My thoughts are with the victims, the injured and their families. The strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people continue to inspire us all,” he added.

Latvian President Edgars Rinkėvičs stressed that “the Kremlin wants war, not peace,” so the answer to it “should be more weapons for Ukraine, more pressure on Russia.”

As Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated , “Russian terrorist ‘anti-records’ require a decisive response,” namely, “new, strict sanctions against Russia and greater support for Ukraine.”

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silinja called for stopping Russia, which does not want peace, but wants “more war, aggression and suffering.”

“Another night of deadly airstrikes in Ukraine. Russia has struck the center of Kyiv, damaging a government building. We condemn these strikes in the strongest possible terms. These attacks underscore the urgent need for a ceasefire,” Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen wrote.

  1. Putin is a “coward who attacks women and children”

The West are even bigger cowards by watching on and allowing it to happen.

    • One NATO member even allowed a russian drone to fly 50 kilometers inside the country without lifting a finger.
