โ˜๏ธSchwarzenegger’s message to Russia: “My father was a ๐๐š๐ณ๐ข. Don’t be like him. Putin is a ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ dictator like ๐‡๐ข๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ. Don’t believe his lies. Don’t follow his illegal orders. Don’t participate in the illegal war against the people of #Ukraine “

๐Ÿ’ก This is how you change hearts and minds.

Not by just pointing out the faults of other people, of other nations,

But by first admitting your own flaws,
The faults of your own people and nation,

โ˜๏ธ Then contrasting those mistakes of the past,

With mistakes being made today.

This is the way.

  1. Good job, Arnold. I wish more prominent people would speak out against the fascist shithole. I wish they would denounce Washington’s current circus show, too, regarding aid to Ukraine. Why are so many so silent?

  2. โ€œMy father was a ๐๐š๐ณ๐ข.” Very strong move by Schwarzenegger, to come out with this disturbing aspect of his personal history, in order to warn of the dangers of fascism. It takes a lot of character to make this public instead of sweeping it under the rug. Kudos to the governator, who shows by this his strong dedication to democracy and human rights!
Following his example, I feel compelled to admit that my granddad had been a Nazi, too, a long term member of that party, not a johnny-come-lately. I only have few memories of him from my early youth, but it still pains me how and why he did embrace this horrible ideology. Even more reason to make a stand against a revival of right wing extremism. ยกNo pasaran!

    • As with all horrible things, nazism was invented in Russia, via the 19th century fake โ€œthe protocols of the elders of Zionโ€, which inspired Hitler and a whole load of other nazis since then, including Lenin, Stalin, putler, Dugin, Lavrov, Medvedev etc etc.
You are probably a liberal today because your country was denazified by the allies, who โ€œencouragedโ€ Germans into cinemas to watch nazi atrocities.
RuZZia has never been denazified. Unfortunately.

      • Good point, Scradgel! In a better world, there will be a deputinification after Russia loses the war. Only reasonable to correct the horribly wrong world view that has been implanted in Russian minds. But I’m not holding my breath for this to actually happen. There hadn’t been a desovietification, neither, or else Putin’s brutal nationalism wouldn’t have spread so easily.
