The shelling of Ukraine is a direct signal to the world.

The Russian Federation’s latest massive attack on Ukraine is the Kremlin’s response to the ultimatum of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.

This opinion was expressed by Sky News security and defense analyst Michael Clarke. He believes that in this way the Russians sent a signal to the world that the American leader will not like. Moscow also demonstrates that it is not impressed by Trump’s statements:

“The message the Russians are sending to the rest of the world is that they are continuing. Russia is striking cities across Ukraine that have both military and civilian significance.”

As UNIAN reported, that night the invaders massively attacked Ukraine with drones . A total of 400 kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type and various types of imitators were launched. The Russians also struck with an Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, and Vinnytsia were hit the hardest. The Air Force Command reported that a missile and 57 drones were hit in 12 locations, and two more were hit by downed targets or debris.

Trump’s ultimatum to Putin

Recall that Donald Trump announced in the Oval Office that he was giving Putin 50 days to achieve peace , or the United States of America would impose very strict secondary tariffs against Russia and countries that continue to trade with it.

Trump also announced new military support for Ukraine: NATO should purchase American systems and send them to Kyiv, and the US will receive compensation from its allies.

The Kremlin ruler’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, called the statement “very serious” and said they needed time to analyze the conditions.

Meanwhile, former President Dmitry Medvedev and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reacted contemptuously to Trump’s words , describing them as insignificant and theatrical.
