Putin stated that the Russian Federation’s goal in the Sumy region is to create a so-called “security zone.”
Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has made a series of statements about the “successes” of Russian troops on the front. According to him, Ukraine will not be able to stop the advance of Russian troops. He made these statements in an interview with propagandist Pavel Zarubin.
Putin said that Russia’s goal in the Sumy region is to create a so-called “security zone.” He added that Ukraine “will pay for its crimes in the Kursk region by losing the territory needed for the security zone.”
The Russian dictator also stated that the Russian army is supposedly about 10 km away from Sumy. However, according to him, there are no political plans for this city.
Putin added that in Lyman in the Donetsk region, the occupiers allegedly had 149 houses left to “liberate” out of 11,000. He also announced a “good pace of advance” towards Sloviansk, where, according to him, Russian troops had 8–9 km left to go.
In addition, the Russian dictator assured that the Russians allegedly broke through a three-tiered defense line in the zone of the “Center” group. Also, according to him, the Russian army approached the settlement of Dobropillya, where, as he claims, there are no pre-prepared defense lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The enemy has transferred well-trained troops to the Zaporizhzhia direction from Donbas,” Putin added.
According to the Kremlin dictator, the Russian army is advancing daily in the Zaporizhia region on a broad front. He stated that sometimes the Ukrainian DRGs penetrate into the territories occupied by the Russian troops, but they are allegedly quickly eliminated. He also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counterattacks near Kupyansk were allegedly unsuccessful.
Separately, Putin spoke about Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory. According to him, they do not affect the situation on the front.
The Russian dictator stated that the Kremlin’s task is to completely seize Donbas and the territory of the so-called “Novorossiya” (Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions).Read also:

Somebody forgot to tell the orcs they are only 10km away from Sumy. The front line hasn’t moved this year in the Sumy direction and is still 25km from Sumy.
