Russian dictator Vladimir Putin visited a Russian army command post and held a meeting on the war in Ukraine. A video published by Russian Telegram channels showed Putin, in military uniform, meeting with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov and other commanders.
Putin was reportedly briefed on the situation on the line of contact.
Thus, Putin was informed about the alleged encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the area of Krasnoarmeysk and Kupyansk.
“Putin ordered measures to be taken to ensure the surrender of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and to minimize human losses,” Russian media reported.
