Russian dictator Vladimir Putin proposes to appoint Andriy Bilousov as Minister of Defense instead of Sergei Shoigu.
As reported by the Council of Federations of the Russian Federation, the candidacies proposed by Putin for the positions of heads of a number of federal ministries and departments have been received.
Putin proposes to appoint Andriy Removich Bilousov as Minister of Defense. Prior to that, he held the position of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Instead, Serhii Shoigu has been the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense since 2012. Now Shoigu will become the secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation instead of Mykola Patrushev.
