He said this should not have happened.

Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has decided to invade Ukraine after the “failed” withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan , US President Donald Trump said during a speech to Congress.

He suggested that Putin thus felt empowered by the decision of the administration of former US President Joe Biden.

“When Putin saw what happened, I think he said, ‘Well, maybe this is my chance.’ That’s how bad it was. It shouldn’t have happened. Extremely incompetent people,” Trump said, according to CNN .

In addition, it is reported that the withdrawal from Afghanistan turned into a “political disaster” for Biden: the Afghan government collapsed and the Taliban returned to power. Trump also spoke in detail about the explosion at the gates of the Abbey at Kabul International Airport, which killed 13 American servicemen.

  1. Would that be the withdraw HE arranged and ordered implemented on his last day in office?
Biden only delayed it by a few months, that is all.
IF trump had won it would have gone ahead and there is no reason to think it would turned out any differently.
So not sure where Trump can be so sanctimonious about.
