In recent years, the Kremlin ruler has been reaching out to the people after events that challenged his authority.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has come out to the people for the first time since October 2024. Such events indicate a period of crisis in the Russian government, writes the Russian opposition project Agency.Novosti .

Kremlin media outlets have released a video of Putin stepping out of his limousine to greet people on the street in St. Petersburg on Sunday, July 27. The outlet noted that in recent years, the ruler has been reaching out to the people after events that challenged his authority, such as the rebellion of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

“This time, the head of state came out to the people after drone shelling of cities in central Russia intensified. For the first time, the naval parade in St. Petersburg, which was supposed to take place on Sunday, was cancelled due to security issues. Despite the cancellation, Putin still came to the city, where he heard a military greeting from the sailors and even walked along the Neva on a boat, as during the parade,” the article says.

The publication noted that the last time Putin came out to the people was during a trip to Bashkortostan in October last year, and before that – during a trip to Tuva in September last year.Read also:
