Russian dictator vladimir putin has once again stated that russia’s losses suffered during the war with Ukraine are not “in vain”.
This was announced by The Moscow Times, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
“All our losses, victims are not in vain. There is not a single useless victim and no loss,” the head of the terrorist state said at a meeting with military graduates of the first stream of the “Time of Heroes” program for training officials.
According to putin, the russian army continues to advance.
“Today, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, both our fighters of the “Vostok” group and the fighters of the “Dnepr” group are very successfully and worthily performing their combat missions. They are confidently moving forward every day, and the movement is very noticeable, I would say,” he noted.
Putin made a similar statement in August 2025. During a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, he said that all the losses of the russian army in Ukraine were not in vain and that the homeland owes its debt to the fighters who gave their lives on the battlefield.
“They created the conditions for the people who are in service today to move forward… In this sense, no loss is in vain for us,” putin said.
According to estimates by the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), by January of this year, the number of deaths on the russian side alone had reached 325,000.
The total losses of the russian armed forces in Ukraine, including the wounded, almost reached 1.2 million (more than 873,000 were wounded).
CSIS analysts called these figures “unprecedented”, emphasizing that none of the leading countries had suffered such losses since World War II.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the General Staff, on May 22, the losses of the russian invaders amounted to 950 people.

How do they pay this debit, in what form, to dead guys?
Putin is one sick fuck! But i also have to criticize Zelensky (again) for not negotiating properly. Offering ruSSia the Crimea and Donyesk/Luhansk, while claiming Zaporizhia back, would be a good start. It may trigger more US/NATO support. But so far all that remains is FUBAR. BTW, it’s easy to talk shit when doped or drunk, but it’s different after the war.
